Uniform

Oromahoe Students may wear clothing of their choice. We do not have a compulsory school uniform.

Students are expected and encouraged to take pride in their general appearance.

Clothing must be appropriate for school to enable students to take a full part in outdoor, sports and PE as well as indoor activities. We ask that all clothing is clearly named, including hats, togs, towels so they can be easily returned.

We are a sun-safe school so all students are required to wear wide full brimmed hats during breaks and sports/PE times during Term 1 and Term 4. No caps are allowed. If your child does not have a hat they will have to play under the shade of the Totara tree or deck.

The school provides students sport t-shirts and jackets to use when they represent us for inter-school sporting events.

Shoes are compulsory for intermediate students when attending offsite technology classes

Some parents choose to purchase the following optional uniform items:

Bucket Hats

These are sold through the school office. They can be ordered and paid for via Kindo or with cash to the office, cost $15.  Sizes available are 55cm, 57cm, 59cm, and 61cm.

TShirts and Hoodies

T-shirts and Hoodies. The school does a bulk purchase twice a year (Term 1 and Term 3)  for t-shirts and hoodies - the school community is informed of this via the school newsletter. Order through the sport hub website here  These bulk orders do not have freight charges added so it is cheaper for families.

Families can also order outside these times individually through the sport hub website here. Please note that freight charges will be added to these individual orders

Intermediate Hoodies

These hoodies are specifically for our intermediate students (year 7 & 8) and are ordered in a bulk order in the first week back to school each year.
